blogrr is built on the principle of data minimisation: we collect only what is necessary to run the platform and never sell your data or use it for advertising.

1. What data we collect

Account information — email address and hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
Blog and post content — everything you publish on the platform, including drafts.
Usage signals — anonymised page-view counts, clap counts, and basic engagement metrics. These are not linked to individual reader identities.
Payment information — reader subscriptions are not yet available. No payment data is collected or processed at this time.

2. How we use your data

To create and maintain your account and blog.
To display your published content to readers.
To send transactional emails (password reset, subscriber notifications) — these are not marketing emails and cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
To improve the platform using aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.
AI co-author requests are routed to Anthropic's API. The content of those requests is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

3. What we don't do

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
We do not serve targeted advertising or use ad-tracking cookies.
We do not build advertising profiles based on your behaviour.
We do not share your email address with any marketing partner.

4. Subprocessors

We use the following sub-processors to deliver the Service:

Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
Vercel — web hosting and edge delivery.
Resend — transactional email delivery.
Anthropic — AI co-author API.

Each subprocessor is bound by data processing agreements consistent with applicable privacy law.

5. Your rights

Export — download all your posts as a Markdown ZIP or CSV from your Dashboard at any time.
Delete — close your account and request deletion of your data by emailing team@blogrr.com. We process deletions within 30 days.
Correct — update your email or display name from Dashboard → Settings.
Contact — reach us any time with data-related requests (see Section 7).

6. Cookies

blogrr uses only essential session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking scripts. No cookie consent banner is required because we use only strictly necessary cookies.
