Niche down within parenting
"Parenting blog" is too broad; the most successful parenting blogs pick a specific angle: a particular age group (babies, toddlers, teens), a parenting philosophy (gentle parenting, minimalist parenting, homeschooling), a specific situation (single parenting, working parents, parents of children with ADHD), or a lifestyle intersection (outdoor parenting, faith-based parenting, frugal parenting).
The more specific your niche, the more loyal and monetisable your audience. A blog for working mothers of toddlers with sensory sensitivities will attract a devoted, highly engaged readership far faster than a general parenting blog trying to speak to everyone.
Ask yourself: what is the specific parenting situation I know better than most people? That answer is your niche.
